Also, their comments have arrived. Let’s check them with model sheets.
3rd year student in junior high school who is aimlessly worrying about his career to pursue. He started ballroom dance by chance and decides to devote his youth to dance and to change his present self.
Comment from Shimba Tsuchiya
I get my mind to blow up every time when I read this manga. The power of pictures, words which sink deeply to my heart and feeling joy towards Tatara becoming mature. Of course I’ll put all my effort to play him, but also I’m feeling that I have to catch up with his growing mind.
Tatara’s schoolmate and Kiyoharu Hyōdō’s dance partner. She is willing to dance abroad with Hyōdō after graduating junior high school. She is stoically practicing dancing and resented Tatara that he was just teasing when he first applied to dance lesson.
Comment from Ayane Sakura
I’m Ayane Sakura, voice actor for Shizuku Hanaoka. I tried to apply to ballroom dance before the recording, and felt that Shizuku’s capacity, attractiveness and talent in dancing were off the scale. I believe that dynamic scenes of dancing will appear attractive with anime. We voice actors will try our best to emotionally stir audiences with our voices. Please enjoy watching juveniles to be glad and sad by turns and growing up in anime.
Partner of Shizuku Hanaoka. He is same age as Tatara and one of the top dancers in amateur ballroom dance world. He looks cool, but has heated emotion towards dancing.
Comment from Nobuhiko Okamoto
I’m Nobuhiko Okamoto, voice actor for Kiyoharu Hyōdō. I’ll try hard to feel why he is genius and why he is called genius. The conversations between characters are one of the attractive points in manga so I’m looking forward to recording. And I also hope to start playing dancing with this opportunity.
Tatara’s dance teacher. Saved Tatara from getting into trouble with bullies and took him to ‘Ogasawara Dance Studio’. A professional dancer well known throughout the world.
Comment from Toshiyuki Morikawa
My character is professional dancer called Kaname Sengoku and my role is to lead Tatara to the world of ballroom dance. I’m feeling responsible to express the attractiveness of dancing with my voice. I’m now studying his role and hoping to become a person who can proudly say ‘Welcome to the Ballroom’. I’m getting excited to dance, since I’m Latin (laugh). Please enjoy!
